Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects and how it is used.

Advocating for Better is an initiative of Neinstein LLP. Personal information we receive is handled under the Neinstein LLP Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab), which follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

You can use this site without telling us who you are

You do not need an account, and you do not need to share any personal information to browse resources or build a guide. Every resource on this site is free and open to everyone.

Build my guide

What you type into Build my guide, and the areas you choose, stay in your own browser. They are not sent to us or saved by us. If you download or print your guide, the copy is yours and stays on your device.

When you choose to contact us

We only collect personal information when you choose to share it, for example by filling in a form or sending us an email.

  • Request a Conversation. This form runs on Microsoft Forms. It asks for your name, how to reach you and a few words about what you would like to discuss. With your permission, your request is shared with Neinstein LLP's intake team so they can respond. Please do not send medical records through the form.
  • Stay connected. This sign-up form also runs on Microsoft Forms. If you sign up, we use your name and email address, and anything you choose to tell us about yourself, to send you occasional updates from Advocating for Better. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Email. If you email us, we use your message and contact details to reply.

We use what you share only to respond to you and to provide what you asked for. We do not sell your personal information.
